Looking for a quick bit of advice - going to try for Bass and Gars on the fly this year and i was looking at The Inland Sea, Stanley Embankment, Anglesey. Looks easy to get to with plenty of room to chuck some fluff -
my question is what state of tide do I fish it?

Cheers Kev - I'm thinking of the right hand side of the A55 (as you go on to Holy Island) - tried plugging the other side but the rip is mental so i think fly fishing it would be a bit difficult.

If you try at 4 mile bridge you will get bass and its not bad depth on the inland sea side just around the inlet

Ta Jack - looking at google map wit h4 mile bridge at the bottom right which side would you head for - i guess your talking about the NW side of the bridge yeah?

If you have been to 4 mile you will have noticed at low that there is a outlet in the middle of the bridge. The outlet is to drain the lake type thing on the other side when this happens it rushes out and has formed a basin on ether side of the bridge in the center. I would personaly go on the estury side as it seems more fishey. if you go on ether side you have to fish at high and cast to the center of ether side of the bridge but the lake side would need a very big cast with a fly rod.
