Match Report- Round 8 of N.W.A.S.A.C. Personal Members Championship, Sun 12.9.10, Bromborough, Mersey Estuary (21 rods).


The strong flood tide brought the fish on the feed with eels to crab giving way to small whiting to crab, worm or mackerel strip as the match progressed. All competitors caught fish.
Liverpool’s Joe McCarthy accumulated an impressive 17 fish for a measure and release total of 482 cms to win Zone B and the match.
Despite John Waugh’s runner up place, Peter ‘Spike’ James still has a narrow series lead.
