Eatsham ferry venue

Hi guys, jst a bit of advice about eastham ferry venue when fishing by the TAP pub, how is it with loss of tackle! is it a grave yard, muscle beds. ect ect.

No realy you need a good multiplyer to keep out of the snaggs close it or a lead lift. Just wack a bait out as far as you can but 40yrds will do. I lost a few sets of rigs and leads last time but if you keep the rod high and dont pump and wind you will be ok

I did but i was on wy own so was a tad but difficult trying to get over the railings then trying to heave up the fish. I will also be investing in a drop net

I fished there today. Had just one small dab. The guy next to me had a cod about one and a half pounds. Didn't lose any gear but there was a bit of weed about.

need to fish big baits i fished there last night low water i had one of 2lb 8oz which i took home

I tried a mix of baits and hook sizes/rigs. Fished vale park over low the same day and still only had 8 small fishes between two of us. The guys along the way seemed to be doing the same...................just one of those days I guess
