Ok I'm taking no chances we are going out tomorrow fishing a high tide mark but I am not saying where in case the fish are online tonite so they won't be tomorrow do you think this will make a difference?

Yes it seemd to work Vicky had a beautiful 1lb 8oz flattie, despite the rotten conditions :- onshore 20mph wind pushing up very large breakers and driving rain we packed up after 90 minutes too rough to see a bite though unless it pulled the rod out of the rest . I have never seen so many cockles and crabs washed up on the surf line including a masked crab (which is a first for me) and a small crab with a long segmented tail which I am not certain of (any ideas??)

On the Alt mate though it was more like the arctic :lol: like your new avatar btw my favourite fruit yummy :D . Oh and it was on baby "party" squid and mackie she did well to catch it and land it through the surf . We are back for another try when the weather improves.

lobster or scampi no not those I should decribe it a little more fully a pear shaped carapace with a whip like tail approx half the length of the body
