has any body tried salting blow lug??
Dose this realy work? Is it worth me having a go??

Think he means salting them after he's dug or pumped them.

I'd say both were a waste of time. Tip them on the top of the beach where the sand is dry and scrape the dry sand over them to soak up and water. Move them around a bit on the beach to shake off the water soaked sand and repeat with clean dry sand. Then wrap in news paper. Re-wrap them the next day or before putting in the fridge if still damp. Remove any broken or floppy dead worms first.

Clean off all the carp.Lay on a tray.Cover with a load of salt.Leave in fridge overnight.Shake off all the salt.Bag up in 20,s and put in freezer.Good for dabs and flounder.

There's a great 'How to' HERE definitely worth a go if you've got a load of blow lug left over and won't get chance to use them. You could use them to bulk up fresh baits on your next trip.....

That was the method I used in my early days back into seafishing.You will find that they don't freeze solid because all the water has been drawn out.You can use them almost straight out of the freezer.Once they're in the water they swell up as they re-absorb water.
