Myself,Dave and John arrived at Wylfa around 2.30pm,after a nice ramble through the countryside
Dave gets set up next to the "hot rock"....

John is on a hound mission :D

This fella had been spinning from the main rock, into the turbulence, for a couple of hours, but had no joy :?
Image
Towards mid tide, that rock gets cut off,so the bloke left.....Dave then put a big crab bait out and 10 mins later,he had his rod rattling :D he thought he was into a bass, but had a nice wrasse of 2-10-0 instead 8)

The start of the outflow.......

It puts plenty of life in to the water

Shame about the Bass. I look forward to seeing the pics. Wife has told me I can have Monday to myself cos' I've been working so hard :D I might try plugging for a change, stay mobile and not carry to many leads. :D :D :D :D
Photo's of me are taken with a specially toughened lens.

Oooops Just realised the pics were on the second page. Very nice Wrasse, well done! :D :D :D :D I stood on that mark for the first time a couple of months back, thought it would be good for Bass, especially after I was told that the local anglers would not be pleased to see me. :D :D

I was disappointed with it really,as there`s limited spaces on the main rock to fish the turbulence, and it`s a long walk to find someone already there  The surrounding rock ledges don`t appear to give you many options,as there`s very little depth there....true we fished from low to mid tide, but then we had to vacate our stations, and there was`nt many comfortable vantage points to fish from after that.

Kev,
Which way did you go to get round there?
Did you go past the power station and then walk back round?

  difficult question to answer Jimmy....we went as per the directions on the N.Wales site, and ended up walking through woods, scrambling over a barbed wire fence, across fields, through someones kitchen, across another couple of fields, which brought us out at the power station :D i dare say there`s a more direct route ;)

Last time we went-we fished the rocks to the left of the station(as youre looking out to sea) and it was really easy to get to-we just drove in to the car park(OF A NUCLEAR POWER STATION_AS YOU DO!!!!! AND THEY WONT LET US FISH SEAFORTH DOCKS!!!!!!)
Parked up and followed a footpath down to the sea-we had to climb down a wall but that was easy 8) 8) 8) 8) 8) 8)
