Venue info needed by first timer...........

Hello there. I'm new to the forum so hello to you all. I'm looking for some assistance choosing a venue close to Liverpool. I live in Sheffield and normally fish on the Holderness coast but I'm getting a bit fed up and fancy a change. I have my first trip planned for Saturday 24th of March and haven't a clue about venues, tides, baits etc. Can anybody help me out please? I can only fish through the day as I'll need to pick my wife up at Anfield after the match (killing two birds with one stone ;) ). Any help and advice will be much appreciated. Cheers, Rob.

As steve would say, have a look through the venues section but on that size tide you may be ok at mariners for an hour or two over high but probably better of at perch rock or vale park over low. Targeting rays at both venues.

Thanks for the pointers lads but my plans have fallen through for now. I'll make it over at some point but don't know when. Cheers again.
