Best spot to fish around tudweiliog

Hi all, this is my first post so go easy on me i have got a caravan in tud and i have always fancied fishing the rocks/beaches around there, i am going this weekend so could anyone recomend me a good spot and what type of bait to use ect. Think the tide is 26ft this weekend

look for dive in rocks holiday park find it on the net. the bloke that has it will tell you were to fish. he's spot on.

Your spoilt for choice around there, if youve got time just go for a walk and you will find some good marks and a choice of fishing, plenty of opportunity for some lure fishing, beachcasting, float fishing, ive even seen people casting a fly.

If you are in Tudweiliog go down to Towyn beach, if you go left at the beach and walk along to Porth Ysgaden there are good marks all along there. At Port Ysgaden youve got more rock marks on the seaward sides with a sheltered cove further round.

If you turn right at Towyn you will find a stream and a pipe going into the sea a good spot for beach fishing, further along that way more rock marks and about a mile further along a seal colony.

From the Dive In walk back toward Porth Ysgaden and again the rock marks are pretty obvious and slightly deeper.

I tend to do most of my lure fishing around here and enjoy traveling fairly light and trying a few spots, it also means that ive always got the oppotunity to go fishing without worrying about bait. As for bait the usual will all work but you wont go wrong with a few peelers. Another thing i often do is to just use a kids net in the rock pools at low water and then floatfish the prawns around the rocks. If you can, fish the beach on tides where you get high water going into darkness otherwise try the rock marks for wrasse and pollack during the day.

I will probably be there on Sunday to get our caravan set up so I will keep a look out. You really dont get that many anglers so if you have time have a good look around you will find your own spots that will rarely have been fished.

Some good info iank thanks for the that, like i said ill be fishing all day sat so prob try a few methods of fishing off the rocks then prob fish the tide back in on the night off a beach if it looks safe to do so

Only fished the small bay there once and we had coalies,dogs e.t.c...stayed in a caravan on hols and the fella who owned it told me he gets his bass fishing by the old sheeet pipe...did`nt have time to suss out where the pipe was
