BLAS are going to Loch Ryan next weekend for a bit of fishing, should be plenty of fish seeing as Shacky ain't going, he is certainly a jinx!!!!!

If anyone else fancies it we will hopefully be fishing around Old House Point on Sunday, and we may just wet a line o two on the Saturday evening

just need El Mag to put us on the hot spots now

Sorry Dave I will be in a different country will tell the boys about this but if no reply go to the Sports Shop in Stranraer and ask for Eric tell him that Iain from the silver lure told you to visit and he will not give you bull also has to quality frozen bait if not live
Marks would be The Barges ,Finarts, Lady Bay ,Leffnoll(darkness) or the Village ?
If you want an adventure the flat rock at the Mull is fishing well as is most of the pollock /wrasse marks (need Rag)
Sandeel/rag for the dogs ,rag for anything else

Scotland IS a different Country, have you not adopted the euro as currency yet, better than all that funny you have

thanks Iain, we are going up on the Saturday so will hopefully have time to call in to the tackle shop, have you got his number, might just see if I can order bait from there, will save taking it up with us

Afraid I am on a boat from Arbroath next weekend or I would have come down. Eric in the shop is definately the best bet to find out where is fishing well. If you can understand a word he says.

Apart from the marks El Mag has stated there is Ardwell back bay for good bags of Wrasse or Port Logan (mull hill) for good Pollack fishing.
The rocks either side of Terally bay for mixed bags predominately LSD or if you can climb the fence, the old breakers pier at cairnryan, walk to the end of the stones and drop a big mack bait down the inshore side for conger or offshore cast out about 30 yrds. Best to have a drop net with you.
