Myself,Dave W,LOL,BDF,Mick Mac,Paddy Whack, and Sven ended up fishing a rock mark just past Tudwelliog....it could have been Porth Ysagden, but you can`t be sure
The wind was fairly strong,so we found a place to fish just around the headland, which gave us a degree of shelter Very picturesque, but it was a tad on the shallow side You never know til you try,so we found our perches and got set up
Some things never change....even though he arrived with us,he was still late getting to the mark
The stretch around the corner, which was the most sheltered, gave the most sport with plenty of small wrasse/pollack/blennys....
Best ballan of the day,and a new record, fell to Andy with this fella of 2-13-8
The ground off the headland was very snaggy, making bottom fishing a tricky business, but perseverance paid off for Mick, who stuck it out with large launce/mack baits to hit this record huss of 8-12-0
That fish regenerated our enthusiasm, but from then on it was dog city At the end of the day,we took 7 species between us,but most fish were on the small side probably due to the lack of depth, nevertheless,it was good to try another new mark, and everyone caught plenty.....err except for BDF
