I have fished Formby regular this year

May was the most productive month for me

I caught my biggest Bass of the year there at the end of September it was around the 5lb mark
i was wondering when do the Bass move out for the winter
is it to late in the year now

5lb, not bad. I had a nice one this year. Not my best but put a bit of a bend in my fly rod.

Great fish but a pity you did'nt return it back to the sea mate to spawn


Large European female ( Dicentrarchus labrax) probably 20 years old don't taste very good when there that size

Only messin. Had a rubbish year. Only really fished Hoyle (had bearley owt) and a few plugging on the wirral. Had a few schoolies on peeler. Best 2lb
