A Day At The Pond

Post by Shacky »

What a wierd day i had at my local pond today  ....... I hooked a Carp on my pole, This fish took me 40 mins to land. I was using a number 5 elastic and it snapped as the fish was beneath my feet  , so i grabbed the elastic and hauled it in by hand :p . The other guys fishing the pond thought it was realy funny  . It only weighed 4.5lbs. I also had another at 2.5lbs, Some Crucians, Rudd & a opps load of Bream 50+ :D .
Not bad for a 5 hour sesh :p .

here are the piccy's of the Carp......................

It is time for you to put some decent elastic in your pole

You could have come and fished with us at the match at Rawcliffe, would have saved me being as bored as bored as can be, don't know why I have taken to going freshwater fishing again,  I am really looking forward to September and getting back to proper fishing :D :D :D
Have I ever told you how much I hate Flounder fishing.........................................................................................thought so
