If you've suddenly started having problems with your PC, like taking forever to boot up, lousy internet and apps dragging their heels it could be down to last Tuesday's Windows Update which installed a faulty patch. :roll:

The guilty party's name is: KB2823324.

If your computer is up to it run 'Add/Remove Programs' and select 'Show updates'. Then hunt down the above named miscreant and uninstall it.

Or you could just run System Restore and roll back your PC/Laptop to a checkpoint dated before the 10th.

Yeah, I got that update. It was lousy for a day and seems to have corrected itself. All running fine now and the update is still installed.
