We fished a lot further to the left than we would normally,as Dave had been given some info from a boat angler about a big hole where the rays are likely to sit 
As i can cast that little bit further,i was put into prime position to search around for the hole 
by 1.30am my rod had`nt moved,so i doubt i was able to find it 
Our Dave was 15yds to my right and was also having a Les Dawson type night,as nothing wanted to know our sandeel baits
Dave W fished to the right of Our Dave and was having a quiet time until just as the tide turned,he hooked this very nice ray of 6-12-0,taken on sandeel.
Using another rod baited with crab/rag/razor,Dave also took a couple of dabs in the last hour
The fishing`s not too brisk at this time of year,but there`s a good chance of taking a big ray or hound....other than that,just enjoy the time on the beach and chill out
