this is the spot we set up base camp at




chris has set rules for river fishing

1.....over 100yards is to far to walk
2.....must be flat ground and not too muddy
3.....must have room for a chair
4.....no over hanging trees to snap a rod in
5.....the far bank must be out of casting range
6.....no big fish as they hurt his wrist

the spot past the wides is the top spot but is a goood way down river from where we went and arriving late on a bank holiday it would have likley had the best peggs taken

i caught plenty once i found the area you and chris were baiting about 50yards down form where you was fishing NUMPTYs
