Pumping lug

Hi I am new to sea fishing and was wondering where the best place to pump lug is. I dont expect to take to it straight away but need to start sometime. I have just retired asnd it was a friend i have on the isle of wight that got me into it.I have fished maybe half a dozen times down there and caught a few fish but nothing to write home about.

I like to combine cardio training with my bait collecting :-/ so if you haven't got a pacemaker fitted and your in reasonable health then Talacre is my recommendation to you. If you head about maybe half a mile past the lighthouse then head straight for the shoreline then you will get worm. You can get worm all along this beach but I don't recommend in front of the lighthouse purely because of your safety !!! I have gotten worm myself from here but I'm familiar with this beach so I'm quite confident as to where not to go. Summer time is criminal here as you can walk away with at least 150 worm in a short space of time, but with winter the little buggers will head deeper so obviously you won't get as many. When you've got your rewards , if you head back to the car park from the shoreline in a diagonal direction then you will come to a fresh water run off that cuts straight through the beach that's quite handy for gutting/ washing your worm out in ( if your freezing them down that is ) and cleaning you and your gear down. Please please please remember safety here !!!!!! Take with you a little compass and a mobile phone , if the fog rolls in here and you haven't got the aforementioned then YOUR crab bait !!! ....
