Salting Worm....

Hi Folks, been trying a bit of an experiment, salting Black Lug.
Done 3 lots so far, but my question is, what is the best way to dry out the salt?
The oven can't happen, as my missus would not be happy with the smell...
Been spreading it and trying to dry it, but can't get it "DRY"
So far it could be a waste of time, but allways looking to try something different, and haven't used any yet, so can't comment on whether they actually work...

Why salt black lug when it freezes so well.I have only salted blow lug and that works well.

Thanks Steve, all this started when I read online, an article, about salting worm, and the author said about using "Gutted" worms, frozen, as opposed to "ungutted" worm, salted..
This is what intrigued me to maybe have a go at it

But reading this post again tonight, maybe gives me the answer I'm looking for....on newspaper? Maybe that's what I need to use.
