Hi all I'm new to sea fishing with my brother. Both use to do carp and cat fishing. Looking for areas to fish and what to catch please. Any help would be great thanks.

Try the venues section but don't limit yourself to just the Wirral side. Some good marks on the Liverpool side from September-March for Whiting and Codling and over summer for thornies. I was new to fishing myself last year and found Mariners and Otterspool helpful as easy venues to learn knots, rigs, techniques on then started getting more adventurous this year.
The lads on here are a great help too don't overlook their advice it can be invaluable at times.

I fish because I love to.... not because I regard fishing as being so terribly important, but because I suspect that so many of the other concerns of men are equally unimportant and not nearly so much fun.
