Where to fish north wales

As your not too bothered by what you catch the promenade at rhos on sea will be an ideal place for learning your 9 year old.

Always dogs,whiting,and at the right time mackerel for fun fishing.

There are lots of other places but this very close to your camp,and provides each of the things you are looking for,so no need to travel to the likes of pensarn,kimnel bay,penmaenmawr etc.

Take it you`ll be fishing the lunch time highs with your lad being so young....the proms will be easy enough,though the tides are very big that weekend so depending on the wind,you might get a soaking on certain stretches of prom. Another option is a short drive to Llandudno pier which has been fishing well lately,though that will prob be busy on a bank holiday unless you get there handy. If you want to fish a beach,you`ve got Llandudno by the little Orme (opposite end to the pier) which has roadside parking and no gullies to worry about...the beach is fairly steep sand/shingle so the tide does`nt go out too far.

Thanks guys we are also going to try the late tide off llandudno pier.

If you want to fish the platform you may need to get there early.I think it is £6 per rod to fish here now.
