Just booked a cottage that over looks amlwch breakwater what do you all know about this location ?
what can i expect to catch all help appreciated

Can be good for coalies,fishing the seaward side of the breakwater,or from the rocks on the right side....big conger live in the harbour and off the rocks....other than that you`ll get whiting n dabs,dogs and the odd codling.

Loads of marks along the north coast of anglesey as well. Rather than list them, get this into your chosen GIS app, browse points in google earth and pick one which takes your fancy.

Also take a look at this - its a bit clunky to use, but it has several marks around Amlwch and lots on the north coast of anglesey

Tide can be fierce off exposed points along the north coast, but fishable throughout the tide into the bays.

Will get usual stuff plus chance of codling if get lucky, big baits will be pretty likely to yield huss and strap conger (which personally I can't be oops with anymore).
