Got on the Eggy Ferry groyne at 3am and prepared for some hectic cod sport I lashed out a pennel rig with 6 of Ainsdales finest whipped on,and was soon into something very big

how the f*ck do dabs manage to scoff such huge baits on size 6/0 hooks
Sven was also putting big baits out..........

And shortly after me,he was also in to a quality fish

Apart from 1 more dab for Sven,that was it for the night About 15 rods were fishing along the prom when we arrived,and hardly anything had been caught conditions were perfect,so where were the fish It`s the full moon i tell yer

[LOL]

After the match decided to use up the bait was going to do the end of the groynes but BDF had no headlight offered him the use of me lighter but he wasn't keen

so we went to vale for a quick session down to low

fairly steady with odd whiting and dab hitting the pennel baits

dave things he has a codling but............



two nice whiting though

i then had a foul hooked dab felt heavy all the way in

then these two agian the dab made it feel better than it was but at least a coding just under 2lb




we was amazed to see two guys coming down to fish as the tide was turning to flood. maybe they like the risk but i prefer to clear the sand bank in good time
