Longest Specimen Fish Pool - Wayne Kirby.....16cm Turbot (£10)

Unfortunately the long journey was not rewarded for the 10 anglers who made the trip West to Pwllheli in what turned out to be a five hour war of attrition against the fish and the elements.

Bites were pretty much none existent across the rods despite everyone's efforts with various tactics and approaches. Any fish found would be worth their weight in gold and only three people managed to get anything on their card.

First man was Dave Roberts who had never been so happy to see a Dragonnet in his whole life.........................



Equally elated with his miniature red Mullet was Dave Radcliffe.............................



It was however to be the Turbo-charged Wayne Kirby who on a day of absolute desolation for the majority, managed to find a pair of perfect little Turbot to give himself the win..........................

Don't you have to buy a parking permit to fish off the Gynn ? If not where do you park to get on it ?

Park in St Stephens Road and there is a path ( steps one way, path the other for trilogies ) down the cliffs.

Brings you out by the “boating pool”.
