as I mentioned in one of my reports I have been using this carp main line with built in leader for some years its really good
the main line has the built in leader at both ends so after a while you can just turn it around?
good abrasion resistance
sinks through the water fast / so no big bows
stays nice and straight /no kinks
has a good stretch and sits extremely well in a good surf plus you don't get the dreaded weed around leader knot.

Tapered SUBline has all of SUBline’s fast-sinking, abrasion resistant-properties, but the line tapers into an integral shock leader at each end. No knots are necessary; if you snap off and lose one, all you have to do is wind the line onto a new spool to reveal the other!
Because there are no leader knots involved, the risk of ‘frapping up’ on big casts is massively reduced and there is nothing for weed to collect on or for a lead system to jam against.
This line was designed for extreme-range casting, but the extra diameter also acts as a robust snag leader. Each tapering leader is 15 metres long, but can be cut down by a maximum of five metres for super-long range, when every last yard counts.
Tapered SUBline is available in the following versions:
0.28mm - 0.50mm (8lb tapering to 40lb)
0.30mm - 0.50mm (10lb tapering to 40lb)
0.33mm - 0.50mm (12lb tapering to 40lb)

Not bad for the money I guess Brian. but some of the specialist sea lines that are made the same (full spool with tapered shockie already in) have a stronger B/S with a much narrower diameter.
even the cheapest product (Tronixpro Bite) at around £9 gives you 15lb mainline at 0.33 to a heavier leader.

HA HA you know what Mark I have never even looked at sea fishing main lines with built in leader 
as most just use main line and separate shockleader
I have used the korda subline since it came out and have been happy using it .
plus I don't power cast so no need for 50lb plus shockleader.
