Good luck Kev, I fished Easington on New Years eve, the tide up from 2.00pm to 8.00pm, and every bait came back intact, never had a nibble. Likewise for everybody else on the beach Squid, Blacks, Razor in any and all combos , zilch, nada, sfa.

Only bonus was there was no weed, conds perfect.

Seems that the tide before and the tide after produced a few insize cod, just my luck.

The middle beaches have been much more prolific in the last weeks, anywhere really from above Withernsea, to Aldborough , mainly beaches with a muddy cliff access.

Wherever you end up make em ave it ! Good luck. !

Edit.... was told there is a new ramp been dug at Dimlington by the Gas terminal workers for access to build a new installation, so easy get down if you choose.

Considering it, but likely to head for the cliffs, rock edges and beaches of East Scotland sometime in the week commencing 30th Jan, weather dependent

Cheers Millsy,i was going to call at Dimmo to see what the access was like now coz you can always get on the ramp if you get pushed off the beach....pity you had a duff session,but as you say they are there on one tide and gone the next,just got to hope you are in the right place at the right time.

As long as the sea is calm and little swell you`ll have a chance of a good fish....just looked on FB and Dave Kay has posted his daily vid of the current sea state at Withernsea and it`s looking very good,plus the forecast is for the wind to drop right off @11pm,so fingers crossed.
