Today at Guinea gap

Braved the wind - though it did lessen as forecasted - two small codling and a whiting on guest three casts . Fish then came regularly till last cast 3.5 hours later ( 1.5 hours after high ) . Caught on frozen lug / Mac and squid - ended up with 14 fish -3 dabs, 2 codling and 9 whiting . Kept me busy so good fun , even though the waves broke on the wall !

Forgot by add - main thing was got first codlings of the season - one more a codlet but one a bit bigger - so that was a result !

Good effort Davy, I was equally pleased with a micro cod the other day. I might give Guinea Gap a whizz over the next couple of days on one of these decent sized tides. Weather looks pretty rotten but at least the prom should be in the lee of the Wirral
