The Alt (again)

Got some bait yesterday and decided to get out somewhere today . Was originally going to try Vale park over high for sone plaice but family stuff meant I left it late . Decided on a the Alt as it always fishes better on the ebb. Got there about 12.15, about 15 mins before high. Got two rods set up with 2 up 1 down flappers 18” snoods with size 4 B940m on 1 and size 1 b900c on the others. Decided to fish bigger baits than on Monday to try and keep the small eels at bay
Also tipped baits off with mackerel to target the flounders . Baits were peeler ragworm and creeper. First 45 minutes were quiet, although rod tips were going , probably little bootlaces biting the tails off the maddies . First fish was a nice flounder of 36cm, then an eel , then a steady stream of flounders until my bait ran out. 15 flounders and 1 eel , biggest flounder was a bigun at 43 cm carried on fishing till about 4.30 , about 3 hours after high , think I would have carried on getting bites if I hadn’t used all my bait.
