[Gaza]

Fished off the sea wall on the run up to high and 1 hour back down and the fishing was very slow. Arrived and set up while waiting for the tide to wash over the sand and then cast out.

I had forzen lug, sandeel, frozen peeler, mackeral and squid.

First fish came after about 30 mins so water was still quite shallow and managed a gurnard on sandeel and then a small plaice around an hour in but nothing else to be seen.

I was fishing to the right of clown roundabout and to the left of the double slipway. Once the tide was washing around the groynes there was a strange redish brown tinge to the see following it around, filling across the front from where I was fishing right across past the double slip. I am guessing this must have been some kind of algae bloom as it just killed the fishing of as soon as it appeared, the baits coming back completely untouched after this.
