Fishing is still a bit undecided till tomorrow weather check ????
But looking at it now it dose not suit the small eyed ray high water fishing with the North/East winds showing now .

options are stay local and fish for Thornback ray or go Menai straits for high water then move for a low water session targeting small eyed ray
Thornback ray / and anything as a by-catch .

yes very true Kev .

Am going in the straits for high ? / I have had good sessions over the low water on them small eyed beaches even with the wrong wind direction ?
have found you need the onshore wind or out at sea swell to create a surf or the small eyed won't venture in towards the high water ?
Could be just chatting oops only one way to prove or find out ? if what I think is right is fish it .

Will speak with our graham later and find out what he want's to do local or go Wales.

To be honest I'd still go as you've always got a chance but Lee's mum's funeral was on Monday and he's spending some time away with his dad.

Spoken with our graham we are staying local and fishing for Thornback ray Saturday and Sunday low water .

And go Anglesey next week as the tide times will suit us better the way we fish.

Spoken with our graham we are staying local and fishing for Thornback ray Saturday and Sunday low water.

Venue will be Vale park on the early morning low tides . fishing 2 rods
Have had time today to make up some trident rigs with hook snoods / the dynaform pully with hair and 2/0 circle hook and loop rig with 1/0 bait holder on top snood and 1/0 circle hook on hair for bottom / I don't like cascade swivels so I use rubber sliding bait stops with a rotten bottom clip instead .

I have also had time to prep my baits / squid-sand eel / bluey-sand eel / squid-black / razor-black-sand eel all ready to go
