19 turned up for this one and parking wasn't too much of a problem and the weather was fine so with everyone booked on we spread out down the promenade with the start time drawing near the water was nowhere near the wall as I had forgotten to add the hour to the tide times for BST so a quick chat we delayed the start time by half an hour time passed quickly and all in was soon called.
It started slowly with very few fish showing except for Chris James who started finding fish early on then a few fish were reported from the far end but still generally slow even Chris wasn't finding the fish but Dale Edwards on the peg next to Chris started catching regularly and soon took the lead but not much else was happening soon enough the end was called and back to the carpark while everyone had a coffee and a chat I went through the cards the results were in.
1st Dale Edwards 11 fish for 329cm
2nd Chris James 5 fish for 138cm
3rd Conner Whittingham 3 fish for 68cm
Biggest fish went to Dale Edwards with a flounder of 41 cm
The second pool was for biggest plaice there were only 2 caught but Ross Goulding took it with a plaice of 27 cm just pipping Jimmy Redfern who had one of 26cm.
