Round 2 Report and result

Round 2 saw us fishing at Vale park over high water we all met up at the bottom of magazine lane and the weather was looking good for this match we had a numbered walk out so at 12 .15 the draw started and we made our way to our pegs. The prom was very busy but luckily no pleasure anglers giving us plenty of space so 1pm soon came and ALL IN was called soon enough a few fish started to show for some but very slow for others. By half time it wasn't looking good with only a few fish caught hopefully it would pick up on the ebb but it wasn't to be with only a few fish showing up with half an hour to go I felt the first spot of rain and it was looking like the storms forecast were close but luckily they held off until we all got back to our cars the results were in and it was looking close.
Taking the win on the day was John Waugh who had 5 plaice for 137 cm, second place was a tie between Dale Edwards and Peter Spike who both finished on 95 cm. Biggest fish went to John Waugh with a plaice of 37cm.
Most species was close with Spike and Dale with 2 species each but Dale took it on the length of each species with a 32cm Plaice and a 33cm Flounder.

7th Rob Turner 46 cm
8th Ross Goulding 31 cm
9th yury with 27cm
10th Don Adamson 26 cm.
Even though the fishing was slow it was a lovely day and at least you had plenty of time to walk up and down talking to each other. So our next match will be at Talacre on the 2nd of June this will be a 5 hour match fishing 11 till 4pm hopefully see as many of you there as possible
