Round 3 saw us at Talacre 21 people turned up to fish and hopes were high once everyone was booked in we all made the walk down the beach some made the long walk to the far right and some opted for a much shorter walk and everyone else in-between it wasn't long before the hounds started hitting the beach but not for everyone. After about 3 hrs a few people had 3 or 4, but some hadn't even had a bite but in general they were being caught from one end of the beach to the other and being caught on various baits. Soon enough All in was called and we made our way back to the carpark which was much easier for the ones who only made the shorter walk with everyone back and all cards returned the results were in
1st John Waugh with 8 hounds 4 dabs and 2 doggies for 794 cm.
2nd Adam Roper with 8 hounds for 603 cm.
3rd Rob Turner with 6 hounds and a dab for520 cm.
4th Dave Radcliffe 494cm
5th Brian roper 461 cm
6th Dale Edwards 431 cm
7th Dylan Kensall 325 cm
8 th Gary swift 283 cm
9th Jordan Roberts 275cm
10th Connor Whittingham 243 cm
Biggest hound went to Dave Radcliffe with a hound of 109 cm.
Biggest other fish went to Dylan Kensall with a Ray of 81 cm
In total there were 100 fish caught including
54 hounds
40 dabs
2 doggies
1 Ray
1 flounder
1 conger
And a whiting
So all in all it was a lovely day with plenty of fish for most our next match is at Guinea Gap on the 23 June hope to see as many of you there as possible
