Prestatyn low water this morning

Fished 1 hour down 2 up, 5 bass ,5 flounder,2 bass undersize,3 at 45 cm,52 cm and 51 cm.Weighed the 2 biggest,52 at 3 lb 11oz,51 a fatter fish at 4lb 5 oz.No photo of the 51 as it was caught on the last cast and the gulley was filling behind me so weighed it and put it back .All fish caught on fresh lug.

Some session that briden did you fish two rods , I'd love to do more night sessions but the gulleys fill up too quickly for me to even consider it

Yes Simon Sw ,but it had been blowing NW the evening before and there was still a good swell on .

Thx Steve,I use three rods 2 fishing and 1 baited to change over,you do get a lot of that fine snotty.
weed that’s a pain to get off the line,so a 3 rd rod saves a lot of time,apart from the rods I travel light,6 sinkers ,10 rigs,the flounders tend to deep hook themselves so I usually cut the hook off rather than mess about with the T bar,so can go thru a few rigs.
Regarding the gulleys from the frith down to the Nova except for the bigger tides it’s more or less a flat walk out,from the frith towards Rhyl,there is one deep gulley to cross,

Hi guys n gal’s I’m coming down on Mon 2 sept until Friday for a few sessions chasing whatever is available I’m thinking it would be better to fish over low water and the first of the flooding tide I’ll be bringing fresh crab down and was wondering wether there would still hounds and rays about or would I have to use worm and fish baits to be in with any chance of any bass Joe Montgomery

If you’re fishing Prestatyn you’ll not go wrong with Fresh lug for the Bass. I’m not sure the Hounds will still be there but if they are you’ll have more chance with fresh Crab or Prawn for the hounds in my opinion.
