Last few pleasure sessions the one on the 10/10/25 was only a short session

Met up with Stu for a go at the SE Rays
Fished 16:00 - 21:30
HW was about 22:30 I think
Swell was 0.9m SW so looked ideal
Usual fish baits
1 Mackerel and a Dog or 2 for me and a Dog for Stu.
Pleasant evening catching up with Stu unfortunately the Rays or Bass didn’t show up.

Had a mooch and a session on the lures by the Menai Bridge with no joy

Some pics below of an early morning Talacre bait collecting.
Collected 60 odd worms and 30 washed up clams in about an hour before work. Cracking morning on the beach.

Don’t think I’ve had a Bass this year and one of my targets for the year was to catch a 5lbs one. On the beach for 7:30 at low water. Left my lug by accident in the van but had my pump. Never fished this part of the beach before I was a bit right of the lighthouse by a run-off.
Large lug baits 3/0 hooks 2 hooked clipped down was the plan with a bit of clam for tipping on the odd cast.
Fished 7:30 - 10:30
Need to get my head back on the fishing
