Round 6 results and report.

Well round 6 saw us at seaforth only 10 anglers braved the walk and bad forecast for this one we met up in the car park and booked on and everyone made their way to the top of the beach and when everyone was ready we made our way out together and the mud was terrible it was thick mud from halfway down the beach to the water and remained like this till the end unfortunately the fishing wasn't great with only a few dabs and whiting with the odd rockling. We were very lucky with the weather it was a bit windy but not as bad as expected but crucially the rain forecast didn't come and it remained dry which was great as with the mud it would have been very unpleasant to say the least . Well eventually the match ended and the long walk back through the mud luckily the bottom end of the carpark was flooded and we could attempt to was everything down. It didn't take long to do the results and the winner on the day was John Waugh with a flat and round for 50cm



2nd was Ian Williams with the combo for 47cm



3rd was David Andrew Lunt with 44cm



4th was Dylan Kensall with 43cm and the only other angler to get a flat and round was 5th Dale Edwards with 40cm



6th Richie Fisher



7th mark Davies



8th Jordan Roberts



9th Dave Roberts



10th Dan Davies



Biggest fish was John Waugh with a 26cm whiting

Smallest fish was Dale Edwards with a 16 cm dab

The golden peg was Dave lunt who finished 3rd so it rolls over

After all said and done the mud was terrible the fishing wasn't great but at least the weather was better than forecast. But with the long walk and mud and the poor fishing it's not a place anyone is keen to return to. Our next match is 2 weeks at vale park over low let's hope it improves.
