Round 7 Report Winter League 25/26

Round 7 results and report

Round 7 saw 22 turn up for this one we met up at the bottom of magazine lane greated with fine weather we all booked on then waited for the bank to appear and the gully to empty which seemed to hold more water than last time

The fishing was very slow from the off and by low water it was only the odd dab and whiting with the acception of a 34cm plaice for the mersey master John Waugh we carried on with hopes it would improve on the flood but again just a few more fish hear and there soon enough it was 6oclock and all in was called it didn't take long to do the cards even though most had caught fish the winner on the day was John Waugh with with 3 qualifying fish for 74cm with ever consistent Jordan Roberts in 2nd with 65cm

3rd was a 3 way tie with Dave Roberts and Chris James and Dave Radcliffe each getting 52cm

8th Will Mclintock

9th Dan Davies

10th Jonny Kirkham

Biggest flat was John Waugh with a 34cm plaice

Biggest round went to chris James with a 29cm whiting

Smallest fish was shared with Dave Roberts and Yuri who both had a 17cm monster
