The Captains name was Stelios
Actually the captains name was Phil aka Groundbait who hauled anchor from North Wales and brought his boat around for a session on the Mersey. We met up on the slip at the crack of stupidity.

Preparing the boat for launching.

We anchored up in 16m just near the radar station at Seaforth.

Phil picks out a carefully assembled rig.

First drop down results in a baby codling to suey.Hopes are high.

The ferry is off to gods country to collect emergency supplies of guiness.

Phil waits for that first bite.

A good knock results in this beauty being taken on suey/razor cocktail

Phil was soon in to a steady stream of dabs and whiting.A lot of the dabs were caught on Gulp ragworm bait.

HMS Michael Jackson was cruisin down the channel looking to pick up some buoys.

A new delivery of kebab meat on its way to Whiston.

The fishing continued to be fast and furious, but the weather was closing in so we decided to haul ass and go home.A great day out, good company, a few fish,a good laugh.....what more can you want.A big thanks to Phil for bringing his boat around.
