Lingmere Fishery 2006-04-11

Just write a short report to let all wirral sea fishing lads about the fishing in Lingmere Fishery.

Mathew and me started our session from around 9, Mathew caught 1 nice mirror and 4 carps. He managed 5 more nice skimmers, 2 tenchs and 2 roaches.

While I managed 8 tenchs one around 2.5lb mark, 2 skimmers, a few carps a roach and my favourite fish a crucian.

We managed around 28 fish between us, not the worst in the bad weather this morning.

few idea about Lingmere, fish there like pellets but red maggots got more bites! but you know you can't get away with small fish with red maggots. I think feed red maggots with fishmeal pellets/groundbait is not bad for Lingmere.

a 2.5lb tench is a nice fish m8

good fighters them tench too

yeah mate. Tench is just a good fighting fish. A 2.5lb tench streched my 12-20 elastic like 10M out, fight better than a 4lb carp

yeah spot on kev

i'd rather catch tench all day than carp

carp put up a good fight but they just give in

where as tench fight untill you get em in the net
