Well i am really going to put some effort into getting decent Barbel from a river this year, i am invited to Nottingham by a rep who does it all the time but i am going to have a dable in a few spots on the Dane as well.

suspension bridge in shrewsbury is good for chub and barbal into double figures, thow i don't fish for them myself whilst i've been down fishing for pike i've seen plenty caught by other anglers ;) ;) ;) and if no fish are biting you can always go and whatch the mighty shrews 8) at gay meadow :p :p :p
