Back drain / rvr crossens this morning

Decieded to have a quick pike session this morning on the back drain / rvr crossens with my lures started of at 05.30am and 2nd cast a 3lb 4oz pike was in the net caught on abu jointed sinking r/head 28g

tried various swims up and down the drains with various lures and it was not until 08.10am the pike No2 came along 5lb 4oz caught on suumaso spoon weedless retrieved 1ft above bottom weed

session finished at 09.00am went home happy

No not personally but when i lived in Germany a few years ago now i whatch the local Germans eat them on the bank side ( bbq'd )

i could not bring myself to eat my favourite fish

being a member of the pike anglers club of Gb ( Pac ) conservation and protection of the species is No 1 priorty

this is my westie called ( pike ) with the 3lb 4oz pike caught on the back drain

and this is the 5lb 4oz pike

not sure if i've uploaded pics correctly

only time will tell
