nipped down to left of double slip to have a bash at those mackerel last night, was a seven pm high water. Started to catch after high water up to about eight. Had two rods set up, one with tinsel feather things, the other had hokai's. Very supprised 
that the hokai's well outfished the tinsel ones. Maybe just a pure coincidence that the fish were about when that rod in water. Who knows. 
Had nine in end, not too big but will do for the winter.

,only saw 1 caught ,but i got my first gurnard off the shore took half a sandeel and a bit of crab off the double slip way ,it only must of weighed 8-10 oz but still nice to catch a new species loads fishing so if the macky show i'd get down there early to get a space, might get down again tommorow see if there are any showing
