Non-Carp Fishing

Post by Luke Sharpe »

Hi Chaps,

I have recently moved across to Wirral from West Yorkshire and I'm struggling to find fishing that doesn't end up with lots small to medium pellet eating Carp!

Is there anywhere reasonably local to Wirral where I would have a chance of a few decent (10oz +) Roach or Dace or Chub (or all 3) before the end of the season? Preferably on a river but a still water would be OK too.

Tight Lines!

PS

What happend to the Mersey this Winter?

try the dee at farndon

its free on the car park stretch and there is plenty of good fish coming out

the only downside is you have to be there bloody early to get a swim (and im talking 7 am at the latest even mid week)
If I want your opinion, I'll ask you to fill out the necessary forms.

Thanks for that Dave.

Conditions permitting I will try it during Half-Term. Probably mid-week to try and avoid the crowds.
