great bite detection
l only use the over head cast so it helps get me out where hopefully the fish are
beach/prom fishing

love the rod

I use this for any of my club matches were the extra distance is needed or if fishing in day in clear water. the finish on these rods as with all greys is excellent the one fault i would give is they are a bit floppy at the tip an move about alot in the wind.Bite detection is not great. the free velcro rod bands with the rod are a nice touch.

Never gave me any of them when I bought one today......... damn favouritism!!

I used mine for the first time tonight, I thought it coped really well in the wind and the bite detection was superb, Maybe I'm just used to really bad rods!

Best of the long rods available IMHO.
But make sure you really want a long rod before you splash out.

just got myself one, ÃƒÆ’Ã¢â‚¬Å¡Ãƒâ€šÃ‚Â£210 from gerrys! Fantastic rods, borrowed one last year off a mate. casts for miles, great bite detection! love it!
