Jay and wokkie where already bivvied up by the time i finally found the lakes 
Jay was top man managing to bag 2 pussies, and 4 carp (i think), he missed loads of runs and lost a few at the net aswel
He definatly had the better swim but we all still had a laugh 
Jays first cat tipped the scales at 16lb;
Several carp later; a better one at 27lb
His face says it all 
This is jays better carp... cant remeber exact weight but i think it was about 16lb
Then my first run... wa hay. came a small common but welcome non the less
After recasting the rig to the same spot a run happend almost instantly, i missed the take but it was proof that the fish are still shoaled up
Think where planning to have another try in a few weeks time when hopefully the water will be warmer and the fish will be more active
I went home early cos i had a appointment with the dole office so jay may have caught a few more.... im sure he'll be on later to bragg either way
When i left wokkies fish count was a small roach... foul hooked at that
