Match Report: 7th round of N.W.A.S.A.C. Personal Members Championship 2009, Sat 18.7.09, Greenfield, Flintshire (23 rods).


The match was fished in perfect conditions on rising evening tide on this shallow but sometimes productive Dee Estuary, rock lined, venue. Plaice, eels and flounders made up the catches.
Wallasey ace, John Waugh notched up his third win of the year in this series, using lugworm as well as crab to land a mixed bag of all three species, including the longest eel of the match from peg 11 in the otherwise poor Zone A.
Match organiser, Richard Burrow was second from Zone B with a fine plaice of 41 cms in his catch, crab was the successful bait.
John now leads the series by 27 points and on current form, will be hard to catch.
