Prestatyn and Pensarn Help!!

Hi All.

I'm staying at a campsite next weekend to the right of the golf club, Shore road.

And I plan to get a little fishing in. So would appreciate any advice on the area or for Pensarn as I do not have a clue around that area.

Whens the best time high or low as the tides look big for next weekend??

Looking on Google maps behind the campsite looks to be a very large sand area does anyone know what it's like for digging?? Or if it's a major walk?

Fished FFRITH beach for the first time last week and it has some good gullies for billy to play in( one is reachable from the prom).....some nice fish come off here every year which is why i`ll be having a few more sessions there....after dark/onshore wind would be best....you`re also away from the main touristy beach. There`s car parking at Barkby beach and Prestatyn and Ffrith...pay at meter £4.50 for 3 hours + between 8am and 8pm. The car park at Ffrith closes at 11pm i think and doesnt open til 8am,but shortly after it is a road where you can park FOC and at the bottom is a kissing gate and path leaving you a 2 min walk to the sand dunes/beach 8) There`s blow and a bit of black on the beach too

Pensarn beach, try to the left of the cafe by the water pipe.

Earlswood Avenue is where we parked....2 mins west of Prestatyn.

High, you want to watch the tide go out at Pernsarn before doing the low, theres some very deep gullys fill behind you in places.
