Dee estuary, Flint

My first post so hello all, my name is Kane and I am from North Wales, I am 16 years old. Anyhow, just wondering is the dee behind the castle in Flint any good? I had a walk around the other day and there seems to be a old, disused port there,

If you no and have fished there before, please could you help me with location/baits/rigs etc.

dont know that area but there were around 10 anglers at connahs quay this afternoon

The quay is getting very popular now a lot of people go there because a 6lb bass was caught. I might try there just want some piece and quite... haha

I`ve had a walk around the castle area to see how the land lies and it looked too awkward imho....never heard of anyone fishing there,as most prefer the known stretch behind the HSS tool hire shop.
