I have but the proposed areas are huge and will effect our fishing without doubt . No one is being forced to sign the information is there for everyone to see and make there own minds up.

Hi forgive me if I seem ignorant but are these conservation sites we are talking about ?If so then most sane people realise that our seas are being pillaged and made barren by over fishing ,whilst rod and line fishermen do not suffer financially we all feel the effect of overfishing by commercial fisherman .Therefore I feel that any conservation areas are only going to be beneficial to the sea angler in the long term .If I have missed something here please advise me

These proposed areas are not areas that suffer from severe overfishing , they are inshore areas ,in the outlined proposals you ain't even allowed to turn a stone on the beach ! Let alone collect bait ! Therefore areas not classifieds czs will be totally overused, plus once this starts may only be a few areas at first ,10 years down the line a few more were will it end ? Down your local pond . This view may seem extreme but it must start somewhere , I agree something must be done to help protect the marine enviroment ,but I don't see why catch and release sea angling can't be practiced in these zones , but this idea seems to be a no go ...... watch this space ...
