New Bait Pump

Hi i am new to your site although been fishing the Mersey for about 15yrs, one thing i have noticed that more and more tackle shops have just closed at one time there where 3 shops within 3 miles of where i live now only one in Bootle who only seems to open when he wants,and with the onset of winter the cod begin too show it becomes impossible to get any Lugworm. Now i live in Brighton-le-Sands (Waterloo really) less than a minute from the beach and have noticed the lugworm casts loads of times when walking on the beach,so i have bought from E Bay a Baitpump its bore is about 2", but someone has told me that its only blowlug at Waterloo and crosby and it cannot be pumped !, is there any Black Lug anywhere near that i can pump. i know this is probably a closely guarded secret but with being new too this i need a nudge in the right direction please !!

No secret mate. Just search the site. Formby life boat road. You can use your pump for blow lug.

Shed loads of blow lug to pump at Hall Rd...walk out from the big wooden marker post and fill your boots

Or you can fill your bucket if you want to keep your feet dry.

It`s a common misconception that blow lug cannot be pumped...they are of course wrong. If you aint used a pump before keep your eyes on the fishing sessions section and join us whenever you like.....

Thanks lads will be down on the beach by me on tues, Hopefully pumping some Blowlug for a Fishing session over Egremont later that day and wensday,Just hope am better at catching worms than i am at catching fish thanks again for the info, Vinny
