Eastham Landing Stage

Hi,
Just wondering if anyone know whether the platform at Eastham is open or not. Went down about a month ago and the gates had been welded shut again. Cheers

Have to ask why are they welding the gate ? I read its a good venue. Maybe I'll have to do take a grinder and get high there lol

They weld the gate because its private property probably belonging to Peel Holdings,and you know how much they love anglers.They may tolerate anglers who climb over but if people start damaging the gate then that will be game over...another venue lost for god.

Abbo went down there yesterday for a nose-only 1 guy on there,
said he climbed UNDER the fence somewhere-not sure where,he said
hed only had a few whiting,fence is easy to climb over and no need
