Freezing Blow Lug
As i had some left over from the weekend,i decided to try freezing using the same method as used for blacks i.e gutting (not easy to do with blow as they don`t pop like blacks)...blanching in near boiling water for 20 secs,then drying off with kitchen towel before wrapping and putting in the freezer.First impressions look promising,but we`ll see at the weekend when i try a pack after thawing

It was pretty good,though you will need to have the big stuff like the ones from Penmaenmawrr as it shrinks a bit.....bellebuster wrote:dear kev how did your frozen blow lug turn out
It`s not as easy to gut as blacks,as the heads don`t pop...you have to pinch them.
